to the 2010 BCS Championship Game
Dear Families and Friends,
What a party last week! We raised money for the Regents Endowment Fund and we had a great time as a school community. Once again, the TDS Exotic Ranch provides the perfect venue. Where else can you go to a big party while driving through a herd of zebras and antelope?
Many thanks to the volunteers who made this happen. And, we are truly humbled at the outpouring of generosity that you showed at the Gala. The items were well received, and funds will support tuition assistance through our endowment fund.
Total proceeds for the gala are at $280,000 and expenses reached an all time low for this event. Congratulations to our gala committee for their diligence and commitment to balancing a community event with a fundraising effort.
Now we continue on the journey as a school. Some of the items are still in finalization. Some of you have asked about the BCS Championship package. And, with the win against A&M, the Longhorns are much closer to Pasadena. It’s exciting that McCoy holds a historical record of NCAA football wins for a quarterback. Go Colt!!
