Science and Nature Center

It doesn't take long to fall in love with this place as you meander down the "Wildflower/Birdhouse" path, cross over the "Blessing" Bridge only to be greeted by the "Bullfrog and Butterfly" Pond.  Then, as you wait only for a second, the sights and sounds of children exploring God's beauty make a final stamp on your heart.

The Regents Science and Nature Center, a ten-acre sanctuary, provides a living forum for students and families to learn about God's creation through interactive, hands-on experience.  As one third grade student exclaimed, "I love this place!  It feels like I'm at camp"!

Students exploring the RSNC learn to identify the rocks, trees, plants, insects, animals, and fish and keep a sketchbook of their discoveries.  The care of donkeys, goats and chickens proves a tangible education in life cycles, while connecting students to our agricultural heritage.
